Our story began in the simplest of ways. Near my workplace, a small park was home to a few stray cats. Over time, two of them began visiting me almost daily, curling up nearby while I worked. I fed them, cared for them, and in return, they kept me company in the quietest, most comforting way.
Then, one day, the little black cat stopped coming. I hoped she had found a home, but I missed her dearly. To remember both cats, I printed their photos, mounted them on wood, and engraved words of love and prayer into the surface. I placed the wooden card in their little makeshift bed. The other cat, as if understanding, rubbed against me gently. Later, she too was adopted by a kind colleague.
That small act — turning a moment of love and longing into something lasting — became the heart of Engravemoments.
